Benefits of Kyungpook National University Scholarships for Undergraduate Students:
- TOPIK Scholarships for Incoming Students:
- A. Scholarship for the first semester equivalent to 16-20% of the tuition fee for holders of a TOPIK Level 3 Certificate.
- B. TOPIK Level 4 Certificate: Scholarship for 40-42% of the Tuition Fee for the first semester.
- C. TOPIK Level 5 Certificate: Scholarship for 80-84% of the Tuition Fee for the first semester.
- D. TOPIK Level 6 Certificate: Scholarship for 100% of the Tuition Fee for the first semester.
- Scholarships for students completing 2 semesters of the KNU Korean Language Program (as of November 10th, 2022):
- Scholarship covering 16-20% of the tuition fee for the first semester.
- Note: This scholarship cannot be combined with a TOPIK Scholarship for new students (refer to 1. above); students may only receive one scholarship.
- TOPIK Scholarship for Currently Enrolled Students:
- Students entering KNU without a TOPIK Certificate or possessing a TOPIK Level 3 Certificate can receive a scholarship after obtaining a TOPIK Level 4 Certificate or higher.
- Scholarships for Academic Excellence:
- A. The top 7% in GPA among all international students in each college are eligible for an 80-84% scholarship for the following semester.
- B. Students ranking between the top 8-37% in GPA among all international students in each college can receive a scholarship covering 16-20% of the tuition fee for the subsequent semester.
- Dormitory Fee Exemption:
- Students residing in a dormitory will be exempt from dormitory room fees for the first semester.

Benefits of Kyungpook National University Scholarships for Graduate Students:
KNU International Graduate Scholarship (KINGS)
Selection Period: Before the commencement of every semester (up to 4 semesters for Master’s and Doctoral programs, up to 8 semesters for Combined Master’s and Doctoral programs).
Benefits: Waiver of 100% or 50% of tuition fees.
Number of Selected Applicants: A. New International Students:
- A maximum of 70 applicants eligible for a 100% tuition payment.
B. Enrolled International Students:
- Up to 210 applicants based on 100% tuition payment.
